... Ellie Kennard

who is responsible for many of the digital processes. A member of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals), she has been Adobe and Macromedia trained to use our cutting edge technology to enhance and correct digital files for print-making, website building, or digital archiving.

Ellie's work includes high resolution or web scanning, colour correction of digital files, print preparation and printmaking. Her skills in colour matching give the closest possible match between print and original. Her website design and production skills integrate well to provide our clients a full range of services.

As a trained advertising copywriter, she can also prepare copy for websites/brochures and other publicity material.

Ellie's abilities in photographic retouching and restoration have earned her a place in the updated edition of the book 'Photoshop Restoration and Retouching for Photoshop 7' by world renowned retoucher and restorer Katrin Eismann. One of her restored images is being included in this book.

... Steve Kennard

who is our photographer and printmaker. He has been photographing professionally since the mid 1970's. In 2002 he was trained at Imacon Denmark in the use of their gound-breaking medium format digital camera back. His photographic work is featured on his Shadows and Light site.

Steve uses his skill and experience to capture the essence of the work that he is photographing - be it on the scale of a large oil painting on canvas, or an intricately detailed piece of jewellery or craft work. The state-of-the-art photographic equipment with which he works enables him to produce accurate and finely detailed photographic reproductions of works of art, as well as stunning product shots.

An award winning artist craftsman, he has a good understanding of how important photographic presentation is to your image.

Facilities

Innovative Imaging Studio is proud to offer to our clients some of the most cutting edge equipment available to the industry in our spacious premises. Situated inside an old barn, the studio has been purpose-built for our work requirements. It is set in the peaceful countryside on the edge of Canning, Nova Scotia in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, just over 1 hour's drive from Halifax.
